Things like that can't be interpreted by the people who wrote it. Are you OCing? or anything else that compromises system stability. I'd say backup your save files, and reinstall personally.

When does it occur? During play?

It could be a XP issue with that game. Have you right clicked on the program and gone to "Properties" and than tried changing the compatability? Maybe have it run the program in 98 or something and see if you get the same error.

Just a thought............. :?:

Queue part of that error in Google, and see if others have the same problem. Most likely, you will find out what is wrong that way.

Try any part. Do some research. That'* how I usually fix strange errors.

First thing I hope you've got the laterst update! I play W3 FT. I'm assuming your system makes the basic requirements? :?
Secondly, try rebooting in between installs. In other words, uninstall game, reboot, then reboot again & re-install game after you've deleted all references to Warcraft III (delete folder & contents on Hard Drive). :?
LMK if that makes a difference.....

Okay, how much RAM do you have? That is a random access violation, usually indicative of not enough RAM, or of running other applications at the same time, thus depleting the available memory. Usually, if your computer has alot of junk in the startup, you'll need more RAM to run memory intensive programs. Click Start -->Run...-->and type in msconfig and press Enter. Go to the Startup tab, and uncheck anything that you don't need running, i.e. anything listed twice, or non-mandatory startup items.

Then restart your machine and try again.
