Yeah it is a memory error, but a bad file/application can produce it too. If you reinstall you may want to remove it, and then reboot, delete any folders that the game was in, and try again.

Are you doing anything in paticular at the time when it happens? Say building certain creatures, or having a lot of guys on the screen? Your video card can have problems too, and cause errors.

You mean "reinstalling XP"?? When you get the error message on the other application is the memory block the same as in Warcraft III? It looks like that if it is having the same "read error" in the same block "0x6F65xxxxx" and the other one, then you could have a chip on one of your sticks of RAM gone bad, is what it'* sounding like more and more to me. Anyone one else have their theories?

Warcraft III will not run if the RAM is too low though. So if you try removing a "stick" it may not even work at all. Out of curiousity.....is the computer reading all of your RAM?
Have you tried re-installing the actual game yet????

Then my guess is the RAM either not being enough left due to too many other programs in the background OR the CPU speed is too low to keep up.

35 processes sounds right. Try doing that remove RAM idea. Let us know. It'll be easier than doing a game reinstall, and if it works, you won't lose any previously saved games...

Start with the "SYS TRAY" icons in the bottom RH corner near the clock. I know on mine I have to kill WinAmp3 Agent & Desktop Architect for starters.
