I bought my "Saggy Stoppers" at Walmart for my headliner.

I wonder if the girls from Hooters go there for their headliners.

no offense intended to the Admin or any other member who works there. I think Wal Mart has a place, I am just really disappointed in the huge lack of American made goods since Sam died. I dont think this is how he wanted his company to grow.

I admit it, I shop there, simply because thats what I can afford, or cant find it anywhere else. Ever try to find a charger for a Nokia 252? I needed one and they were actually the ONLY ones who had it LOL. Still, when I have a choice and the money, I support smaller businesses.

I agree with you on that. I have comparison shopped and a lot of the time Wal Mart has things much cheaper than other stores for the same exact item.

Yeah, but it'* still pretty amazing how even after having split the fortune 4 way'* each portion is still in the top 10 wealthiest Americans. That'* 4 of the Top Ten. Pretty amazing.

All due respect to employees of Wal-Mart of Store-Manager rank and below:

WAL-MART SUCKS!!!

Sorry, I don't like their business practices, their policies on the music they sell, or the fact that they are single-handedly destroying small businesses across the country.
During the holiday season just past, they sold toys and childrens gifts AT COST in a deliberate attempt to put Toys 'r' Us and several other competitors out of business.
If they pull this dirty little stunt again this year, Toys 'r' Us, FAO Schwartz, and any number of locally owned toy stores will be GONE!

So...

F*** WAL-MART

Um, hate to break it to you, but WalMart and FAO Schwartz are not in competition with each other. Totally different clientelle base. FAO Schwarz is for the people that are willing to pay their mark up for thier name. (And they have some really cool stuf yu can't find anywhere else)

And Toys R Us isn't really in competition either as they are a toy store, WalMart is a discount department store. WalMart may drop their proces, but they don't have anywhere near the selection.

Besides, WalMart is a discount store. That'* what they do is try and beat everyone else'* prices.

BUT, you do, of course, have a definite right to your opinion. And, I ran a small business (2 actually) and I know how tough it is. The biggest problem here was the government, tho. They didn't seem to like the fact that labor only businesses like myself weren't contributing to the sales tax profits, and refused to pass any legislation that might cut us a break.
