Ya, I know there a lot of people that like to bury their heads in the sand when it comes to politics but...........I'm glad I spent the time to listen.

The older you get, the more you understand the importance of politics.

But as you should know, politics and religion don't go over very well on this site.

:( Yes I know, you are right.

Someone should have told this to Chad before he went over there and died because of it. :(

What I find most frightening is the loss of civil liberties that is already occurring yet, we are no safer.

I am not a conspirasist, but did you know in the book of Revelations, the US does not participate in the end of times? Many think it is because of our inablilty to take on the threat and become a "non player". You can guess what that means.

I never thought in a million years I'd say this, but, Newt Gingrich is right.
If full scale war between the West and the Muslim countries happens, I do not doubt that the Western countries can win, BUT we are not prepared, we are not willing, and we will take MASSIVE losses before we even enter the battle.
The scariest part is, if it gets to the point where the war becomes ideological for US, it WILL become a new World War, and we don't know which way the rest of the world will jump. The Western nations will definitely be on our side, as will India, but China is a toss-up.

And when do we consider that war won? It'* ideological for them, do we go until the governments surrender? That won't stop the fighting, because the governments aren't the driving force, the ideology is...will we have to continue a war until we have committed genocide?
We could be faced with the prospect of wiping out an entire religion to ensure our own security.

The thought is pretty damn scary, but that is one of the possibilities we face...

I 100% agree with Newt. However I also have my beliefs that this all began due to American foriegn policy post Second World War and the need for a Military Industrial Complex. I'm going to stop there.

Its unfortunate that lives are lost over fictitious religions. We are a terribly primitive species.
