i took the car in to atomic transmissions today to have them diagnose the shifting problem and they said the torque converter is toast and they think the valve body is toast too, so it needs to be rebuilt basically, grrrrr, ah well the powertrain warranty im gettin for it is gonna cover it so im not too concerned, it was behaving very well today too, barely felt it jerking at all. overall tho im lovin the little thing trans problem or not, fully loaded and everything AND im getting 34mpg on it which is BEAUTIFUL imo

yup, funny thing is, the camera will cost me more than the trans rebuild, gotta love those extended warranties

hmmm the CHECK ENGINE light came on today and i had it scanned and it spat out code p1744 and the scanner said the desc. of that code is Manufacturer Transmission Control so yea its toast lol, its shifting pretty good right now tho.

anyone know if theres a shift kit for the ford cd4e trans thats in it?
