Sounds more like you need to get into Special Investigations/Drug Enforcement area than just a Police Officer. In certain area'* of Enforcement you are really never off duty. And I do realize in some areas of the country Police are given broad latitudes. My next door neighbor'* boy got out of Cadet School this past summer. He likes his job. He'* with a County Sheriffs Dept about 40 miles north of Philly. Nice neighborhoods, little crime and he'* on traffic patrol. $68,000 a year to sit on the County'* 4 lane roads leading down into Philly and write tickets.
