"Just makes me thankful, makes me thankful that they didn't give up," he said. "Only the good die young, so I didn't go.
That'* funny stuff, amazing story though.

Kinda scary if you think about it, gonna put in my will that they leave me for a few days to stink before they put me in the ground, in case I'm just having a nappy

It'* really scary. I wonder how many people have heard their doctor say that and not given the chance to wake up.

I'm so on the fence about organ donation.

One side: Don't do it because they might not try as hard to save you because they want your organs.

Other side: They'd have turned off this guy'* life support if he hadn't signed his donation card or whatever and he would have died.

Other other side: Several people could maybe die if they don't get my organs.

Well, the brain scan showed no activity so it makes sense that they thought he was dead... amazing that he wasn't, really.

I don't have a problem with organ donation.... if I'm dead, I'm dead. Can't use the organs anymore so give them to someone who can. As for docs giving me less treatment because they would want my organs, that sounds like baloney....

X2 - they even rob corpses , even bad corpses, to get parts. And I work in a hospital!
Just google stolen body parts, you'll get 90k+ hits.

Also, my wifes Aunt that they wanted pulled off life support and was brain dead, just a few months ago, is alive and doing well. She can't talk because of the stroke she had but she a whole world better than the brain dead they said she was. Feel free to search here on BC, I posted a thread on it.
