I got my own AMD 64 3500@2.4GHz 220 FSB with 2 gb of OCZ RAM@220 MHz 2.5-3-3-5 and a radeon x800 xl@420/519 all air cooled in a thermaltake xaser III case( BIG CASE)
cost me about $1000 almost a year ago besides the video card
BTW INTEL chips are and have been far inferior to AMD for years.INTEL uses unfair business practices to get a higher market share and have been cheating AMD out of bussiness for years.
If AMD wins the lawsuit they have up right now it wont be good for INTEL.

Twiser - Even though your P4 with EMT64 tech. can run a 64 bit OS, it'* not a 'true' 64 bit processor...it has more along the lines of 64 bit software extensions that allow it to run 64 bit apps.
AMD 64 bit processors are TRUE 64 bit processors.
AMD is ftw. Intel is ftl.
I've contributed my share of tech knowledge for the night...time to go play world of warcraft.

they are reviving the P3 architecture since there presshot core reached there limit
AMD also has a bigger server market than intel for the first time
