Default Ultimate PC

I found this in a magazine I was reading today.

http://www.voodoopc.com/showroom.aspx?productID=1038

You can even build your own. Price is crazy, but look at everything it comes with.

I like voodoo but they are quite the ripoff when you can buy 2 SSEis for the cost of their base model which is not THAT great.

alienware and even dell can build a box to top/match that for a lot cheaper but you dont get that 1337 case which I would kill for BTW,

the dell equivilant runs about $1500 cheaper with nearly same specs except proc and mobo.

voodoo has always been an "expensive alienware" box.

quick example they charge $2285 for the 24" samsung LCD. I CAN PERSONALLY VERIFY that that LCD is the exact same in dells $899 WFP24" model. Plus newegg only charges a tad over $1000 for that

Voodoo, alienware, Falcon Northwest...all overpriced to hell.

ABS is the best value for performance company if you're uncomfortable building one. My dad has an ABS and it'* been great.

I build all of my desktops though....always AMD.

For sure, then you can choose the brands you want.

Its good PCs are so much easier to build than they used to be, I even walked my dad thru buillding a custom PC from the ground up. The hardest part was explaining what a partition was and how to set that up.

My Intel is HT with 64bit technology in it. Said it on the spec sheet and said it in the bios. Plus Apple is going to Intel chips, so IBM is losing that partnership.........what does AMD have in store for its future?

Yeah, I priced it out for the heck of it but I would never spend that much on a desktop. The pink case is wicked though.
