Tranny slip from drive to overdrive

Heres what I dont understand......
You say you cant afford a tranny flush, yet the more expensive problems which may be the case, such as a torque converter engagement problem, or a shift pack, or clutch band, you want to know about.
You either
1) Post this, and think its funny, or
2) Your trying to fix your car with duct tape from Wal Mart.......
Which one?
