Default Tranny slip from drive to overdrive

My 1995 Ford contour has a tranny slip from drive to overdrive but i dont get it its only when I have my foot on the pedal lightly like today I was the 1st time I wanted to top my car out and found out I have a 108 mph engine cut-off but when I have it to the floor and it shifts from drive to overdrive @102 mph it dont slip at all how long will it be before i have no overdrive is this a big problem?

The tranny fluid smells burnt and is a darker brown than it is red so ya its freaking crap no money for tranny flush at all not for like 2 months so It may end up being like my 1987 pontiac 6000-le

Dude I love your stories. Keep beating the crap out of your cars, you provide some good entertainment for me.

When are you gonna get a video of that thing going 108?

In two months you may not have a tranny with fluid like that.

Your torque converter is probably having difficulty locking up because the fluid has lost the properties that make it function. You should change it before permanent damage.
