Ya the horder'*. The stores from the beginning should have limited each person TP supply to 2X 12 packs & there would be no shortages.
I was unable to find TP and spent 5 hours trying to find some. I was successful at smaller corner stores only.
6 pharmacies to find a bottle of Beneylyn and the pills etc.
I had a good supply of many other things and for a real high fever use ibuprofen.

Yeah, here in Tucson, the traffic has dropped a little bit.

Last night, we went to Target to grab some extra pantry stuff to hold us over if need be. A lot of the food shelves were getting thin. TP aisle was empty again. Went to Walmart prior to the 6 am opening, probably a hundred people in line.

2 Saturdays ago, there was a gun show here in town at the fair grounds. Lots of ammo and lots of guns. Figured with things going on in the world, it was time to invest in an AR-15, so I purchased a Smith & Wesson M&P 15 sport with Crimson Trace Red/Green dot sight. Gotta love the conceal carry permit, fill out the paper work and head out the door. This past Saturday, took it and the girlfriend to the range. She was a little hesitant at shooting it, but after 6 rounds, she wants one. So, after we finished up at the range, we went to our favorite store and purchases another one.

As far as work goes, as long as the big trucks are moving, we keep working. If we don't work, the big trucks stop. And that would be very bad.

Girlfriend says work has been in the planning stages of sending people home to work. If that happens, I'll have to leave work and go home to play IT to get her work computer setup on my network and our laser printer. At least she gets to start drinking earlier. SMH.

Checkin in on this. Our TP infrastructure collapsed on 3/12, and food collapsed on 3/13. Since then food/pantry items have pretty much been MIA. LOTS of panic buy and hoarding going on around here. You'll hear of a store with stock, and then it won't have stock once again within hours. Frozen foods, canned/non perishibles, and even bottled water continue to be completely demolished.

Las Cruces is not a good place to be right now...

Even stores are having sanitizers and stuff for the staff being stolen right out from under their noses

So far, Tucson has been pretty quiet. We only have like 8 confirmed cases in the entire county. Girlfriend will be working from home starting Monday. So she has to bring her work laptop and **** home today.

Hopefully it will soon be over, but in the meantime....

At my place, they're getting as many folks as they can to take their computers home and work from there. It has been pressing the IT folks' resources pretty hard. I'm considered essential so I have to keep going into the office, but we are actively keeping our exposure to other folks to a minimum.
