Towing Specs, Ford Explorer
Anyone know off hand the Towing specs. for a 1996 Ford Explorer V6 4x4 manual? Or, know where I could find it?

Stupid question here...
Is this a 4.0 Pushrod V6 or a 4.0 SOHC V6 .... Pretty good power diffrence here...
If memory serves these are both 60* V6'*
The pushrod 4.0 makes 160 Hp and 230 ft lbs I think
and the 4.0 SOHC makes 205-210 HP and 250 ft lbs<---- I drove a 99 explorer a ways back and it did pretty good, I was supprised at its willingness to get up and go...

96'* were also pushrods too I believe. IIRC the OHC was an option motor I think?

I will say that 4.0 SOHC was decent.... and it did almost 26 on the road with the AC on all the time.... I was supprised that it did that good...
