I had a U-Haul pegged at 65mph once, it seriously wouldn't go any faster.

was it the 24' one pegged at 65? i rented the 24', at 72mph it was redline in 4th gear. that was a fun drive down 35 (70mph limit) a old uhaul with over 200k running redline for over a hour. the next time i slowed down and counted the shifts, i thought maybe the overdrive went out or somthing, nope the old gmc was in 4th gear.

I had a 14 footer for my move. F350 Diesel. With Me, Haro, and Sonoma in it we got it up to 65, almost 70.

We kept yealling at it to shift because the thing sounded like it was wrapped out...

i used to work at uhaul. i think the 14' trucks have the most punch though. i heard somebody running a new 10' at 90mph and found a govorner there.

I think it was a 24 footer. 14 sounds too small for what I was moving at that time. But yeah, I was glad to get back in my Bonne after that (my first).
