Oh boy...that'* terrible news about the accident. Glad to hear he survived and I hope he isn't in too much pain. Wishing him a speedy recovery. I have to ask though Hans... was your dad a Bonnieville person before you joined the club?

No, I had been trying to talk him into one for 3 years before he finally got one. He likes 80s vintage mercedes diesels.

Yeah i woulda thought he'd pick something nicer like a Hummer or a Porche SUV for his first car. My sister went to high school over there recently. Most of her friends cars were brand new...BMWs, Mercedes Benzs, Hummers, etc. Few of her friends had summer jobs, her first job started at 13 bucks an hour...at 16 years old. Even mcdonalds pays 11 bucks an hour. Teton County has the highest average income county in the country.

Wow!! I am so happy no one was hurt. Cars can be replaced but human lives cannot. Your family has had its share of hard times this past year or so.

Sheesh Hans! What are you doing to us? I am almost afraid to open your threads these days.

But seriously, I am glad your Dad is alright and that things will be OK, but I think you and your family are due for a change in luck for the better.

"Obama 08"

Now that you've got your dad driving non-socialist-made vehicles (unless you count the UAW), you need to work on his political candidates of choice.

Glad he'* okay though (well, mostly). Sounds like quite the pileup.
