well just an update for all of you guys...
been a week of ups and downs but she said yes!!!!!!
we left wednesday night and met a couple friends on the way down and met a new guy on one of the forums I am on and set him on the right track since the guy he got the car from had his head up his butt. anyway we got down to evergreen which is close to the drag strip in CO so it is a beautiful area set into the mountains where we spent the night at a nice hotel that according to the plaque on the door was a 400 dollar a night room but i got for dirt cheap since it was a week day. The room had a hot tub and was really nice so it made the experience much more enjoyable for both of us.
Here is a shot of what we saw as we checked out just to give you an idea of what the location was like.

I talked to her gay friend who works at the cookie shop next to where she works and he told me to tell the boss of the cookie shop that the cookie was for her and he would cut me a deal on the price so I got the cookie for half price lol. The cookie is an M&M cookie because M&Ms are her favorite candy... I think you can see the theme i am going for here lol

I told her to leave the boxes i brought along alone and not to look at the cookie and the crappy thing is her loud mouth drunken dad had told her that i was going to propose but he didnt know when so the surprise was not there which really burn me. this is the biggest thing that ruined the weekend for me but here is how I set up the ring in the machine.

We had a good nights sleep together since it was almost 11 by the time we got to the room and I had only had like 90 mins of sleep since 10pm the night before. we sat in the hot tub and relaxed for a while before we crawled in bed and passed out. we woke up at 8:30 and she got a little bit of breakfast to share and while she was getting that I started filling the tub and getting it ready to relax in. we ate some of the breakfast and then soaked in the tub. she decided to hop in the shower and get ready for the day so i had a chance to set the cookie and the machine up with the ring and get ready. she got out and i told her to close her eyes and then I lead her to where the cookie was setup and then told her to look at her gift. i let it soak in for a little bit then said "do you wanna make this forever" then put the ring on her finger and she just hugged and kissed me. I teased her and said well is that a yes or a no lol she said of course it is a yes you smarta** lol.

we decided to go to blackhawk and enjoy the buffet they have there and enjoy the scenery. On the way back we ran some errands and then met the guy that owned the GTO I was looking at and did the bank paper work and took her home.

then i took her to work on saturday night and the weather wasnt super and I was prolly going a touch too fast considering I hadnt completely learned the car yet. I lost control and it spun and if there wouldnt have been gravel left over from the snow removal I could have saved it but it slid just enough that I tapped a wall at prolly no faster then 10 mph but enough to remove the rear bumper and only scratch up a very little area right below the taillight so it is completely fixable but just frustrating. it is 99% cosmetic so it will be fixed but just frustrating. what is even more irritating I almost decided to take the truck but i didnt. then 2 weeks ago my tuner and other things got stolen out of my truck so I am just waiting for the third because it always happens in 3s lol but at least she said yes
