Yea man, thats normal. It will significantly decrease when you buy a spray gun though. Then the gallon cans start showing up all over the place.

WCBF'ers have seen about half of mine at best. I have those big rubbermaid totes full of more.

I've got enough model car spray paint to make a real car. And I mean from accumulated layers of paint, not the sheet metal of the cans. It'd be a Ford, though, so I won't bother.
