I remember flying to Memphis for a business training a few years back. Left Phoenix at 105* and single digit humidity. As the plane lands, the pilot says it is 87* in Memphis. Having never been to Memphis before, I am thinking, "87*? Oh, he**, yeah!!!!"
Got out of the terminal, walked about 20 feet and was drenched from head to toe. Found out after getting to the hotel that it was 90+% humidity. Definitely not the cool down I had got myself all excited about upon approach. Nasty, just nasty, I tell ya.
