was thinking about buying brand new taillights (passengers outer very distorted) but I got to thinking....... I asked a local after market guy about it but he tryed to sell me some black outs I don't think they were ever made for tails? anyway, were can I buy this stuff at to tint my lights, what is it called, and what are my options of manufacturers?

Only thing about spraying tailights is that it has a dull look. nless you clearcoat it.

I did a lot of very light coats, started getting heavier at the end. Basically mine are black when there'* no direct light on them, and i used 1 can on 4 lights. Take them outta the car, and take your time.

Order 2 cans just incase. When light hits mine from the sides for example, it'* kinda maroonish on that side. They still light up good though.
