Default thrasher bites the dust?

hey guys not sure if everyone knew this but i believe thrasher as a company has been dissolved. i had ordered a CAI from 3800 and it was taking me forever to hear anything back from them. Finally after many emails, a guy from 3800 contacts me to say that they are out of the h-body thrasher cai'*, said he thought he still had a few or else he wouldnt have taken my order. thats when he told me that thrasher had gone out of business. dont kno if anyone had ordered anything from thrasher recently but if it is "late" now you know why. he'* trying to contact the former owner to see if he can aquire any of his leftover inventory and so he can fill my order. if not im lookin at a refund and no cai ffor the time being.

If they can't fill your order, I got my CAI from here and loved it. http://www.wbodystore.com/grandprix/...stem-p-63.html

Just choose Bonneville CAI.

Ok sounds good. It offers a single piece or a two piece set up. Which did you get?

The two piece. You should only get the single piece if you have solid motor mounts and are sure the engine isn't going to be rocking in the bay.

Or you could go the cheap and awesome route and have Young Gun LS1 build you one. It'll even be paint matched!

FWIW Thrasher was bought up a few years ago and the buying company bought it for the name and to do internet sales/ebay only. They kept selling the easy products like the CAI etc and ahve been for quite some time. 3800Performance, I didn't realize they were still in business.
