well, the main concern is with a cup of water i use to start stuff. there is this vine that i have, that you can clip, stick the clipping in water until roots shoot out of it, then plant it.

we do leave the back sliding door open at night so the dog can come in and out, i open up my window on occaision, and normally stick a box fan in it <no screen btw>. im not surprised...

Forgot to ask -are you sure you don't have your state abbreviation backwards? :? Because the last time I checked Minnesota'* abbreviation was MN -not NM.





















J/K -I thought Minnesota was the only state with those bloodsuckers.

I know this may sound strange, but fill a spray bottle 3/4 full with water, add soap, dishsoap is best....NOT dishwasher soap. Then spray the plants, that should help kill the pesky bugs

Close the door, and get a screen? Maybe a drop or two of vegetable or other cooking oil in the water? That will keep a thin layer of oil on top of the water to keep the bugs out. Hopefully, it won't coat the roots too much when you pull the plant out..
