Interesting to note that the Bell 222 avg equip price was 1.2million in 1980. seats 8-10
max rate of climb was 1730 feet/minute cruise speed 165mph.
The Hughes 500 D/E climb rate was 1900 feet min, cruise speed 175mph.
Airwolf was eventually sold after the show and became an ambulance helicopter in Germany, where it crashed in a thunderstorm and was destroyed on June 6, 1992.
