Personally, if I were to live in ATL, I would make sure my home was as far from 'The Underground' as possible, and preferably in the Buckhead area (much nicer than the stretch between downtown and Buckhead (as far as I got from the Georgia Congress Center and Georgian Terrace (where I stayed).
I found the town, especially down town, in hot, muggy August to have a putrid odor.

I don't know how long it'* been since you were around Atlanta, but Buckhead is terrible now. You're constantly hearing about somebody getting shot or robbed or something.

Oh yea...After my commute to Atlanta everyday I'd NEVER consider moving anywhere in or around there. A TON of homeless psychos and gun toting thugs...

Ok, update guys....no moving to Atlanta as the job position was either already filled or deleted. But I am still moving out of Orlando....probably move near a certain admin since housing is way cheaper in his neck of the woods......

Hmmmm....well, I think we can rule out Toronto...
