Default The things you learn

During a motor swap the last couple nights with Mechanic Dan, I find something interesting on this 2002 Altima with a 2.5 that needs a new motor at 94K.

Putting the harmonic balancer back on.. I gaze to the right to see something as part of the all aluminum block. A nice little casting mark that says "Made In Mexico" :?

I never knew Nissan didn't get all their parts from the homeland....

it wouldnt surprize me in the least if very little or even no parts at all are made in Japan for doestic makets

Accura'* have Mitsubishi parts in them. I didnt know that until I did an audio install for a friend of mine. I was surprised since at the time i was driving a Mitsubishi.
