Default Is there anyone that started college in there 20'*?

I wanted to know because I am thinking about going back. I want to go either to a university or maybe another junior college. I feel kinda shakey because its been a while. I went to a junior college bak in 96 but stopped in 1 1/2. Now i wanna go back but kinda scared.

I went back at 22 (after I got out of the Marines). The top 5 in my graduating class had all gone away and come back. The first 5 to rock out of the program came right out of high school

The point is that you need time away. Keeps you from getting burnt out, and there'* an advantage to being a little older and more mature. I think EVERYONE needs a break from school for awhile to be able to do better.

i go to a college that has students of all ages. there are people here from my age all the way in to there 40'* The main reason that ppl go here is because Fort Bragg and Pope Air Force Base is very close. Coming form a 19 yr old I dont think that the Older students look out of place. And I dont think that you will either.

yeah, I currently attend a community college which is both geared toward people just out of high school and returning students, really having a variety of ages brings more to the class and I think we just think of eachother as "students" -no matter the age.

I got to a Juco on a army base and there are people of many different ages. I barely find anyone close to me, most of them are in their 30'*. So go back, you wont be out of place at all and you know what? Who cares what anyone thinks!

I went in at 19 too. However, that was because of a 2 year preschool program in my youth so I've always been behind 1 year in the ladder

I think its definitely a good idea to take a break between high school and college. I finished college a little late at 23 but I did just fine.

It is NEVER too late to go back to school.....you might change careers a few times in your life, but you will always have your skills and knowledge.

I attend a city college where you have everyone from high school students and others that just vary in age but they all seem not to care.
