water leak? I had 2 bonnevilles with them. THe white car i have now is fine but was wondering if the grand prixs, sunfires had this problem also?

the 3100'* are known for intake manifold gasket leaks.
My GP was that way b4 I sold it

All vehicles have to potential to have leaks around the doors and windows. As the weatherstripping ages it shrinks. People climbing in and out of the car can shift the seals around a bit. Poor maintenance (not washing the car, etc) can cuase rubber to shrink, or items to become (and stay) lodged under seals. etc, etc,....

Dad'* old '91 Sunbird SE (3.1 V6, coupe) had a mystery leak. I reckon my dad took apart half the interior and couldn't find a leak, the water always found its way to right behind the driver'* seat floor.


The only thing he could do was to drill a hole in the floorboard and make a new drainage hole
