thats what i had explorer sport with the 4x4. had the creature comforts yet still could tear it up with the 4x4

and Air Bags.

Toasty, need to look into the tranny. Since those are probably the WORST part about these fords. Our Van'* went at 100k. Take a look at the fluid and ask if they have been serviced lately. You didn't say if eather were 4wd or AWD? AWD will come with the V8 if the Eddie Bauer is has a V8. The AWD or 4wd was available on the 4.0L Take them both for a test drive Just depends, the sport models are obviously tougher to get into the back seats. dude, I'm telling you, go over to www.Explorerforum.com ; I'm sure they'd have more insight

BUT, I think you're making a wise choice in what you are looking at

i just found a Silver (my favorite color) 2002 2-dr sport at a local Ford Dealer for 9000 and it only has 46,000 miles on it! 9000 is a bit higher than i wanted to pay, but if i can get it from a dealer with so little miles, i think it might be my best bet
