I wouldnt call your car slow in the realm of 2 ton sedans Rico. I just like to keep people aware of the problems. Even Bill with his 97 has blown up more things thhan you could imagine. His has the money and garage to recover. Dan'* on the same path...Hehehe. And their Series is a bit tougher. Modding has a limit to what you can afford, how much you need the car, and how reliable you want the car to be. I'm a bit partial to the early 90'* myself. I had a 91 Park Ave Ultra, and a 92 Park Ave. His and hers with my late wife. Thought they were the only good looking rides out there.

Seeing the car is part of your family. I would learn as much as possible and do the work yourself. Far more rewarding.

Dan is right. Learn about your car and do the work yourself. We are here to help.

lol deff lovin that venom, and i have from time to time forgotten that the bonneville is a luxary sedan and weights 4000 pounds, and ill deff keep that in mind dan, you will be my used parts guy, and for the moment i do as much as possible in reguards of maintenance as in plugs, wires, oil, installing CAI, replacing fuel filter, and i did take 4 years of auto mechanics in school but if i muff something up i really dont have the money to fix it. and so what does everyone think of my idea to do a complete breakdown of the engine and clean and fix wat ever needs it?

The parts I have here wont work on your engine, sorry, different series. As for rebuilding the engine. If it was me I would watch for a good deal on another engine and then rebuild that one. That way if you mess up, your car is still on the road. Then do a swap and either keep the old engine, or part it out.

ooo thats a very good idea, but it pains me so much when a bonnie gets parted out, even if its not mine i still fell horrible ripping it appart, so if i find another engine it wont have a body attached, i wont be the one to kill a bonneville, but i absolutley plan on doing that once day, and when i do ill deff just break down the original engine and fix that, i wont be swapping engines, mainly bc i want the original to hit 1,000,000 miles and when it does i want to see if the electronic odometer explodes

Just think. By the time your car hits 1,000,000 miles, you will be as old as Venom, and as smart as Dan.
