It doesnt even make it to 3k between because im obsesive about that. unlike my uncle who has a 96 crown vic and hasnt changed the oil in 50k mile. he read an article that taxis had oil changed or not changed at three thousand and the results didnt differ any.

I love my WJ, but I hate Chrysler (and moreso DaimlerChrysler) products.

Seems that they really put the items that can fail in tough places to get to. Radiator, Starter, Heater Core.

Some things are beautiful, tho... anything around the steering column, gauge cluster, radio, center console, oil changes, brakes.

I think I'm going back to ford after this. The bronco'* has had less issues, besides rust.

Yep my mechanic bought a 2003 loaded intrepid with the 2.7 for $500.00 clogged with sludge. He put a 3.2 or 3.5 in it as a replacment. Too bad toy cant do that with the smaller cars.

You sure about that? The 2002 and up 2.7s had the oil problem solved, along with a few other improvements. But yeah, the 3.2/3.5 swap is well worth the time, in return you have a torquier engine and can actually squeal the tires.

The sludging problem wasn't SOLVED, they just made it less bad. It'll still be an issue.

BTW, all the LH type cars are turds. The only thing Mopar did well between 94 and 03 was the Viper and the Avenger/Sebring coupe (which was really a stretched Eclipse).
