Default Story....*RANT*

Sorry if this is long.

Many of you know that I'm a secretary at a autobody repair shop. Well this morning this couple comes in and tells me that their smashed up Cobalt is down at Apex and the guy is a real jag and they want their car sent here. So I call the insurance company they authorize the move, tell me not to pay any charges, that if there are any owed, and that they will take care of it. So ok, I call our truck out to go get the car. Well the Tow Driver calls me and says that Apex will not release the vehicle because of the charges that they paid to get the car there and whatnot. So I get on the phone with their secretary and tell her what the insurance company told me. So she starts having a hissy-fit like a 3 year old would and says she will not give us the car until the charges are paid. So then I ask to talk to the owner of the shop. He gets on the phone and is like who the F*** are you?? So I tell him, and I politely explain the senario and he starts cussing me out left and right and tells me that he'* been doing this longer than I've been breathing and that I'm a dumbass C*** and that I have no idea what I'm talking about and hangs up. So I proceed to call the insurance company, tell her whats going on and she says I am in the right and that she will call over there. I call my truck driver and say stay there, he calls me back and says well....that guy felt stupid and released the car.

Why must some people be such ignorant ********???? It'* like dude! You'll get your money, but it'* not coming from me. Grrrrr people like that shoudln't run a business.

*END RANT*

Sorry to hear about your experience. It really sucks that he was the owner, you can't even report him to anyone.
(You can however, spread this through word of mouth to everyone you possibly can).
Unbelievable how some people act. Hope the rest of your day is better.

Ahhh, the pleasures of dealing with people....

Sometimes it'* really hard not to give back what you just received from some numbnut with an attitude, but it'* best to take a breath and walk away and realize that you are the better person.

It helps to vent a bit afterward though, huh?

Have a good 4th!

Leslie, next time that happen, just say "What happened to "service with a smile?"

That'll probably make him madder than Mad Hatter...

And I bet he can't understand why the car owner didn't want his shop to do the work.
