What is yoru signal strength. My first thought is low strength or interference. I will drop connection if I'm to far from my router. Are you running vista? If so, upgrade to SP1. Although when I did that, my computer would not connect to the wireless network at startup. I had to manually connect. The only way I could fix it was to roll back the driver.

then I'm not sure what to tell you. Can you run a diag program that monitors the network? You might be able to tell if it your computer that'* disconnecting, or the router. Then you atleast know where to look.

many access points/routers have an option to change channels. Play around with this. I used to have a similar problem. It turned out everytime my roommate used his cordless phone, microwave, or garage door opener my connection died. Also is this a laptop? I had two Dell laptops that would drop the connection if they were flexed a little (just sitting on my lap). There was a small short in the motherboards that caused this.
