the distributor has the ign control module in it because that what was wrong with the last pos ford i owned was a 86 with the 5.0 fi engine and kept stalling when running for a while. and the pumps could share a ground, grounds are funny too could be fine cold but as they start to pass current warm up and become intermittent.

That was the first part I replaced. I have in all, replaced every part of the ignition system.
