Is anyone into sprint car racing in this forum? Doesn't have to be in Pennsylvania.

I use to pit for a friend, but lost active interest. I still make it to a dirt track near here a couple times a summer. They still allow personal coolers and beverages.

I sponsored a car years ago, went to the track every weekend. Haven't been there in a while now.

Oh nice, I just got into it two years ago and like it much better than NASCAR. I like how you can interact with the drivers better and it doesn't cost so much. I went to Knoxville Speedway last year and had a blast!

Ya, the track I frequent allows anybody in the pits. It'* just a little more for a pass to cover insurance. I always enjoy going. Good people, good times. Pit Fight!!!!!!!! LOL

Oh yeah got to love pit fights and driver fights and my all time favorite fights with the flag man!

Last good pit fight I seen there was with the late models. Some guy got a little sideways, put another into the wall, when they both came off the wall, the first had torn the rubber rear bumper off the second, and it was hung up on the first, flailing around in the air as he kept bombing around the track like he had a trophy. The pit crew whose car was now bumperless were on the wall screaming and pointing, the crowds sucking suds and laughing, they had to black flag him twice before he came into the pits. Both crews were hot and ready and the melee' started. Meanwhile the bumperless cars back in the fray of things trying to regain place. Sure they have better looking cars in NASCAR, but it was quite a humorous spectacle for 14 bucks.

I have seen drivers charge the flag stand before. There was a red flag at a late model race and one guy bumped another and during the red flag one guy got out and started hitting the guy in his car. Then of course that guy got out of his car and the fight was on!

I love it. In mississippi there are a few dirt tracks. I like the late models too
