We just learned that little Jessica'* team took home the Fair Play Award (sportsmanship). Out of 9 teams they won this, they were judged by the other teams, we are very proud of them!!!!!

Yay!! That is great especially in light of how they were treated by that one team. Good always triumphs over evil . Woo Hoo!

However, wee took home best drum majors, best band, best flagline (ours was horrible, AND best sportsmanship in band once.. Our teacher was laughing so hard he couldn't say it at first...

The girls were a little awe struck playing in the big city but kept their games clean and had a lot of fun. Best sportmen like team is more of a reflection on the coaching as I'm sure a few of the girls would have gotten frustrated and taken it out on the other teams if not for the coaching staff reeling them in
Jessica was happy with the award but cant wait for next year when her team plans on doing better.
