speeding ticket (no steet racing involved)
Hey everybody I got my first speeding ticket.
I need to vent my frustrations so let me tell my story I was driving down the parkway in my explorer (bonnes is in the shop) coming back from my cousins bithday party. I'm minding my own business when I pass the off ramp of 231 and if anyone else on long island its a HEAVY street racing area and hidding in the bushes waiting for an unsuspecting honda with their fart pipes and euro lights to merge on the parkway after a race is a state trooper. Anyway I drive by and next thing I know I see a crown vic tailing me and the sirings go off and he pulls me over I tried but to no avial he won't budge about letting me off. He writes me a ticket for 140 bucks and drives off. Well that'* the end of the story and the moral of the story is don't get caught speeding.

Sorry to hear it. Happens to the best of us...
We have a few places in the cities where the cops like to hang out. I found one of them the hard way, just like you. I got lucky, tho, the cop wrote me up for the cracked winshield on the car rather than speeding. Same price, but no "points". And I now know when I cross the river, I better be doing the limit....

Well I was lucky then!! I got pulled over for speeding. But get this it was 1:30 in the morning and I was going home and me not paying attention to my speedometer I got pulled over for 74 in a 55, but he let me off on a failure to obey a highway sign, I still got 2 points on my license and had to go to a driver improvement class which added up to about $200 after it was all said and done.
