do you use text? if not you should be able to have it disabled.

if text is not in your plan you can have your phone configured so it wont accpet them... and you wont get charged.

I got another text message that just said SPAM repeatedly. But this one had a number attached, so I called it just to see. Some guy said "hey". And since reception in my house sucks, I got disconnected... so I didn't really hang up on you.

A certain "info-priveleged" member was mere moments from being having his number included in a complaint to the FCC about spam texts.

Also, I know Sprint can disable text messaging on your phone if you dont have it. I have Sprint but I have text turned on since i use it once and awhile. Its only $0.15 a message and for how many I use its cheaper not to get a plan

That'* exactly what I had to do back in September. I was getting a lot of text spam. Finally just had it disabled by Verizon. I don't use text messaging anyway.
