Not going to say where I got this from...

2013 Chevy sonic. Lady said her oil light came on and she kept on driving and she had no idea why her car was out of oil and her engine was locked up!

Um yeah lady if you turned off your car when the oil light came on you might not of needed a 3k dollar engine!

OUCH! I can't say I've never ventilated an oil pan but at least I did it from the top with pieces of rods on a 6K launch on concrete...... LOL

LOL, I've ventilated the side of my 3800 by punching a connecting rod through it.

Ha ha, yeah man she let that become FUBAR!
I have always felt like if it is not electrical related, like a short or something, then by the time you notice that light on it is already too late, not in all cases, but a lot of the time.
Makes me wish I had actually put in a brass NPT and added that mechanical oil pressure gauge I had my eye on a while back.
