Default Something to think about

Well yesterday i get a frantic call from a freind of mine saying there was a accident
Bare with me im telling this 2nd hand well she owns a 89 cutlass supreme and was have a freind change a strut(with that paticalar car uses cartrigde sytle struts) well her freind wasnt familiar with the whole set-up so he started to change the strut and didnt read the book(that car you can change the struts while the car is on the ground) some how he pulled the spring out which is a big no no well her dad came over to help him get the spring back in place well in the mix of compressing the spring her dad had his hands in the wrong place at the wrong time and the spring compressor shifted and his finger got pinched well he had a fracture in his finger lost his whole nail and about 8 stiches he was very lucky to keep his finger after that i went over there and riggged it up so the car would roll and a tow truck took it to the shop

i just wanna say to all memebers BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN WORKING WITH SUSPENSION PARTS

yes i learned while watching my dad change a set of struts for a Lumina, he has his own compressors......well the compressor slipped a bit, and my dad put the spring down told me to stand back and really quickly got that compressor off of there.

it was a really tense situation

My cousin died street racing with a Honda Civic. Him and his friends lowered the car themselves. Lost control on the freeway doing 90
