those batteries are wrong for the car. Need 7.2 or 8.4 V c batteries pack. Those look like AA 9.6 v backs. May still work but drain like super fast.

I just ran 9.6, even though its rated for 7.2.

I have no idea what it cost new, but I'm assuming it was $150-175, plus $100+ in parts I have purchased for it.

with the graphite, speed control, motor, extra batteries, charger, and the truck itself, that has got to be an easy $300.

is the whole chassis graphite, or just the pieces labeled?
