This snow is a bad scene

We are getting the tail end of that huge East Coast storm. It created absolute mayhem on the roads tonight. It came down so fast that the salters, sanders and plows hadn't even gotten started before the rush hour.

It took me 2 hrs to get home, usually, its 15 min trip on the highway. Its that terrible "greasy" snow too. Really wet fine powder...bleh, nasty. Cars were all over the place. You'd figure that by now, most people would have learned how to handle their cars in this weather.

My Bonne did good though tonight, no loss of traction or sliding. Wheels spun a bit at accel from a stop light, otherwise, it was OK.

Good luck out there on the US east coast. You have lots of digging out to do.

Watch out guys, we're getting hammered right now by a big wet one. If it blows right, you'll pick it up in 3 days. Duck and cover!

Phew! I am so glad it missed Detroit. We've had enough snow here. We probably got 2 inches max. I feel bad for you guys out east.
