The snow is kinda funny cause at first it was dry and the it was hail. So we got soft snow to play football on but it hurts!

I'm with Turtle....SNOW??? We actually got rain for two days last week. Which means no more weather for the rest of the year.

I was looking at the news last night, thinking that we really dodged the bullet here in Chicago. But what gets me is that they close all the roads so they can plow and such, and everyone gets a holiday. We're expected to take that kind of thing in stride and still be on time for work.

I can now laugh at all the freaks in their SUV'* (no offense to anyone here that has one...and uses it!) Both of my Poncho'* have Traction and it was very useful in the last 3 days. I have a gravel driveway and I can't completely clear it. The HOA came by and gladly deposited almost 5 feet of crap at the end of the drive...after I had cleared it! I was PO'ed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got about 3 feet down into it, started the GP, bungied an couple of plastic sleds on the front and rammed the rest back into the street. Oh friggin' well... I got out no problem!

After getting out on the road, I found quite a few higher-end SUV'* (2 Mercedes, 1 BMW, 4 Navigators, to name a few) that were still sitting in ditches. What a waste of money.

My 76 GP was good for that. Didn't even need the sleds.

So you stole all our snow! We have had something about 4" so far this year in MN that has stuck. There is supposedly more on it'* way in the next day or two but if it'* too warm all that we will get is rain. :?

Gord, if you're getting the storm that ripped through here, you're in for it. It dumped a TON of rain here and snow in the cascades.
