Well i guess its my time to rant, bad luck usually follows me around everywhere i go so this was pretty much supposed to happen if you ask me. To start it off two months ago i purchased an alpine deck...motorized face and everything...got it for a pretty decent price too. The deck has been flawless for these two months. Just recently the deck decided to crap out on me. To be more precise 2 days ago, sometimes it feels like playing sometimes it doesnt...pretty retarded if you ask me. The head unit turns on all the time..the problem is that sometimes their is just no sound coming from the speaker. I can control the volume but their will be no sound no matter how high i turn it. payed 140 for that deck and i only had it for 2 months...to be honest less then 2 months. I dont even want to go on im so ******* pissed i have been having the worst ******* week. Take care

Ye i know sorry for the rant...took apart the deck it seems the cooling fan on the back is dead and the harness to the head unit is also pretty messed up.

Taking her to a repair shop on my lunch break. I will post an update, wish me luck i really do hope it is repairable. Nice alpine deck too. Shame if it was done for good.

I get a decent discount at United Radio Service; which is the east coast Apline repair center. PM me if they have problems fixing it and I'll at least get you an estimate.
