Lounge For casual talk about things unrelated to General Motors. In other words, off-topic stuff. And anything else that does not fit Section Description.

If you wait until October 1st, you can claim "Non-Use" for the full year of 07......That way you don't have to pay for '07 tabs.

Otherwise, if you wait until September, you will have to buy tabs for both 07 and 08.....$218.

I had to do that with my 95 when I got it, because the tabs had expired in August 03, and I had to have the previous owners signitures claiming "Non-Use" for 04, and I had to wait until September 1st 04......Otherwise I was buying 04 and 05 tabs for the car.

Expiration Sticker for your plates--Month and Year.

The DMV gives you these each year when you renew.

I wouldn't risk it. Your luck you'd get pulled over and get a ticket and it would probably cost just as much as if you'd bought the tag in the first place. Just my $.02.

It is another reason for them to pull you over...

If you get pulled over for something else, they'll know right away as well.
