Default She'* back...

Finally figured out what the problem was with the tempo <couldnt do 25+ mph in 1st gear, etc>. and now, it runs great <well, for it anyway>. now my busted motor mounts are complaining.

*sigh*

in love once again

now it makes the glass packs fun to listen too

<----- hopes mounts can hold together until payday

My old 89' Grand Marquis could do 25mph in 1st gear ONLY if given more than half pedal off the line. It WAS a Ford. Good car, had to get rid of it due to rust. Had 240K on it. Ran perfect. Really miss it, but it was falling apart. I still like Ford, they just don't have sports sedans like GM does. I learned how to drive with the Merc but it ain't fast enough. The Olds is as big and IS fast enough.

Took the ICM off the distributor to have it tested. much to my dismay, it tested good, so i drug my feet back to the car, put it back on, started it up to make sure it was back on right, and it was fixed <revved real high real quick>. i was like . then i drove the crap out of it, and took it on the highway. it was so nice being able to do 75mph again, and having to let the gas pedal off of the floor at 75. hopefully, this will help my fuel mileage issue too <9.24 mpg>
