Bryan...I'm an Admin...I can make you a special award, plus change your signature pictures, take away your posting rights and just mess with you miserably until you say "Okay...I'm done whining about wanting to win COTM, which I know I won't now cause an Admin is going to pull me out of the running.".

Nope. Self given things mean little to me. My whine was sarcastic. I like to keep my mods/customizations low key. Having the time and money to do it came easy for me, and I rather let the guys that really have to put work and effort into their cars get some recognition. I won in '06 and had my month to shine.

COTM is for the members, says the admin that won. To keep the award as prestigious as possible, we keep it totally fair. You need a great car, and be active in the site. That gets more members to notice you and therefore vote for you. Campaigning a bit wont hurt any.
