woohooishness, I got the damned thing in the mail today so I guess that means I'm 18 eh? I still dont see the point in why they still want this to be done if theres not any chance of a draft shouldnt the system change? why dont they allow females to register
but they have the option box for it is this for the people that are "genderless" so to speak or what? not saying I'd dodge the draft is there was one but I'm not gonna join the armed forces either just curious about this was all
Current law does not permit females to register

Be careful how you fill out the form. Do not claim any exemptions not even a student. Once you claim an exemption you are eligible for the draft up to age 36. If you do not claim an exemption then you are only eligible to age 26.
I was in the service with a lot of guys that were 34, 35, and 36 and they were drafted when their 2S, Student exemption, ran out.
This may not be valid now but 35 years ago it was a reality.
