Until recently I was living check to check (as most people do, but hate it) so I put away a small chunk that I am saveing for rainy days. I also give Uncle Sam whatever he wants durring the year, then he gives me all the extra back at tax time (my savings account ).

Less than 5 years ago I was working for $1000 for the summer. Not much to live off of, but enough when you live with your parents rent free and have virtually no bills.
Well could be a few reasons why you can't save up.

1, you now own a house.
2. you drink to damn much, lmfao
3. you own a FORD.

should I go on,

hehe

Mine varies from year to year. I made 35k in apprensticship before I left highschool
Then I worked 8HX5D for 3years in a shop at $32/ hour (after I got my masters-took less then 6months)
Then Ive been on the road every sence, Biggest job ive had was a 9month 42'' pipe at $110/hour... I liked those 20pay checks to say the least... 12hour days/4days on 3days off... Im nearing the end of my rancho-relaxo 6month time off..
And I do some Hot Shot.
weight(500lbs minium) + (.35 X km+gas+hotels)=what I get payed on average

If I wasn't in school, working full time, I'd be bringing in around 40G a year.

I've seen that rust-bucket! Duct tape wouldn't sick to it, and bailing wire would just crumble the rust...
