Salaries
I was just wandering what people are making these days and what you do for a living. I am a security officer at Harrisburg Area Community College making 11,000 per year. (part time 11 per hour, all they will give me right now). As you can see I am damn poor, probably make less than everyone here. I do computer work on the side which only brings in around $300 per year.

I gross 28,000$ CAD a year before the gov takes their cut of it. Not including my car allowance of about 14,000$ a year ( not taxed).
I work on the road as a sales rep/merchandiser/ whatever you want to call it.

I really can't imagine how anyone with a family and teenage kids can afford to live on any less these days. There'* never any left over at the end of the month. Too many damn expenses !!!

I used to make $10.20 per hour at my food service supervisor job at college, working 40-50 hours a week during classes. Those were the days I wish I was making that money now. :(

I'm single, cars paid off (both the Bonne and my beater truck), no credit card debt, and I still can't seem to get much saveings built up. Not sure where it all goes, but it goes. :?
Until recently I was living check to check (as most people do, but hate it) so I put away a small chunk that I am saveing for rainy days. I also give Uncle Sam whatever he wants durring the year, then he gives me all the extra back at tax time (my savings account ).
Less than 5 years ago I was working for $1000 for the summer. Not much to live off of, but enough when you live with your parents rent free and have virtually no bills.
