Default Sad Day for Chopper Fans...

The official Indian Larry web site has posted the following:

Indian Larry, a master motorcycle mechanic and stunt man, passed away this morning
following an accident while performing Saturday at the Liquid Steel Classic and Custom
Bike Series show at Cabarrus Arena and Events Center in Concord.

"He was riding and standing up on his seat. The bike started to wobble and he was not
able to regain control."

Indian Larry fell off the bike before a crowd of about 8,000. Paramedics were standing
by and aided him until he could be airlifted to CMC

"Indian Larry was a man with great skill and talent as a mechanic and metal sculptor. He
will be truly missed by his fans throughout the nation."

He mystified us all with his unique sense of style. He stayed true to his roots as he let
his passion guide him. We all hope we can be as lucky as Larry was. He died doing
what he loved. He died with thousands of people missing him. He died with a good name
that will forever stay in our hearts. I know Larry has rode back to heaven.
Ride free, Brother. We all will be missing you.

PLEASE SEND ANY DONATIONS IN MEMORY OF LARRY TO

I had heard about that the day after it happened from a guy at work.
Yes,he did know his trade....just watch some of the Great Biker Build-off when he builds against Billy Lane. I don't think he has ever had a bike that didn't start on the first try and be rideable with a little tuning. Billy Lane always had trouble with his and it was always Larry who had to bail him out!!!!
