i pushed carts, and i know we had signs that said we are not responsible for any damages cause by carts. Unless they can prove it was intentional, i doubt she can do anything about it

Yep, just the act of driving into the parking lot releases and absolves the store from damage claims. But since it was caused by their employee (well, not really, but that'* the legal position) they'll pony up just to keep the cougar from growling.
